LEMON GRASS
Dried leaves of so-called lemon grass (Cymbopogon citratus). The epithet really very well describes both the taste and leaf, used also as spice (e.g.in Thai cuisine), and also the infusion, which is very refreshing, strongly grassy, with a very distinctive lemon aroma. It contains no caffeine, so it can be drunk by children.
Preparation tip: warm the teapot, add a tea filter with 9 - 12g of tea, pour 0.6l of boiling water, steep 4 – 6 min. |
