Formosa Pinglin Spring WEN SHAN PAO CHUNG 50g
The top Spring Taiwan Oolong from the Pinglin area in the famous Wen Shan region. Name of the tea refers to the special production step when during the drying the tea leaves were wrapped in paper. The name PAO CHUNG means literally "wrapped kind". It is the least fermented oolong tea, close to the green tea character, but with stronger mellow body.
A high quality, lightly fermented, loosely curled leaf of a sweet aroma.
An infusion of a very brisk, full and balnced, greenish-sweet taste with a pleasantly flowery component without any distinctive tendency to get astringent.
Preparation tip: fill a heated teapot with 6 – 8g of tea, pour 0.3l of water 80°C warm (you can try warmer or colder water), let it steep for 60 – 150 sec, the second steep is possible. The tea is also convenient for the gong fu way of preparation.
