Formosa Traditional HONG SHUI DONG DING Oolong 50g
Excellent grade of the famous half-green tea, with a taste reminiscent of the Taiwan Oolongs Bai Hao – Oriental Beauty. The tea is processed by the original traditional method of strong oxidation of the leaves (to 60%) and a subsequent short roasting. An infusion of thus processed tea has got a darker red colour that is why it is called “hong shui” – “red water”.
An evenly rolled brownish leaf of high quality and a light caramel flavour. An infusion of an excellent, complete, full, fruity-sweet, lightly spicy, complex taste with nutty tones. A tea speciality for tea lovers.
The tea is sold in the original 50g package.
Preparation tip: fill a heated teapot with 6 – 8g of tea, pour 0.3l of water 90°C warm, let it steep longer than the green Oolongs, more steeps (minimally 3) are possible. This tea is especially convenient for the gong fu way of preparation. |
